Traditional jewellry |
|
Nepal is a land
at the cross roads of Asia, strongly influenced by china to the
north and India to the south. It is a land of mountain, rivers
and plains. Its people too are culturally diverse. This
wonderful union has resulted in a traditional of jewellery that
is distinct and complex. Nepalese tradition of jewellery can
only be produced by accomplished craftsmen, skilled in the ways
of their ancestors. |
|
Sadly, the art of
traditional Nepalese jewellery is being lost to the fashion of
modern jewelry and a lack of skilled craftsman. We at Hira Bajra

sustain the artistic tradition of hand crafted jewellery in
Nepal. Our designs are based on the traditions of our culture
and our craftsmen are skilled in traditional techniques of

on the road to Bhaktapur, only a few kilometers east of
kathmandu. Our shop is an ideal destination for lovers of fine,
traditional jewellery. All of our products are hand made by our
skilled craftsmen using century old techniques.
The jewellery pictured here is just a sample of our artistry.
Pieces like these can be ready for you in just a few weeks. We
